Throughout the fourth quarter of 2021, the top fast food and fast casual restaurant apps in Egypt displayed varied performance metrics in terms of downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

KFC Egypt - Order Food Online began the quarter with a significant 83K downloads, but this number fell to around 35K in mid-October before stabilizing between 45K and 64K downloads per week for the remainder of the quarter. Active users mirrored this trend, starting at 336K and fluctuating between 230K and 385K throughout the quarter.

McDonald's saw a steady increase in downloads, peaking at approximately 91K in mid-December. Active users also rose from 338K at the start of the quarter to a high of 546K in mid-December, showing a consistent upward trend.

Hardee's Egypt - Order Online experienced moderate download numbers, with a peak of around 14.5K in mid-December. Active users also saw a gradual increase, starting at 10K and reaching up to 14.5K by mid-December, before a slight decline towards the end of the quarter.

Pizza Hut Egypt - Order Pizza had a varied performance in downloads, starting at 156 and peaking at 13K in late November. Active users followed a similar pattern, increasing from 2.4K at the start of the quarter to a high of 14.3K in late November, before declining towards the end of December.

Zack's maintained a steady download rate, with a peak of approximately 7.3K in mid-December. Active users showed consistent growth, starting at 10K and reaching up to 16.3K in mid-December, before experiencing a slight decline to around 10.7K by the end of the quarter.
